ending this agony (metalcore)

Ending this Agony is an Australian metalcore band from the Tweed Coast in New South Wales. The band was formed in 2008 when the four friends, Jake Mackenzie, Scott Young, Kurt Lancaster and Angus Mcilveen realized how the metal scene was next to non-existent on the Tweed Coast. The band started off their music career by covering songs by Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold and Behind Crimson Eyes but quickly realized they had more potential than being just a cover band.

After enlisting Zaccy, the first demo "Untitled" (recorded by Padded Cell Productions and mixed by Jordi Leech of Rose Tattoo) was released in April 2009. This included singles such as "Intro", "For Us", " Blood for Oil", "A song without a name" and "Leave out all your lies". It was shortly after its release that Zaccy and Scott left choosing their own seperate paths. This did not deter the band and Ending this Agony continued to write a six track second demo CD featuring the unreleased song "Darkness to Light". After musical differences bassist Angus decided to start a Jazz-fusion band. The demo is expected to be released before the end of the year.
