Rakella began her belly dance journey in her home town of Melbourne. Training at Underbelly Dance Studio between 2001-2005, seizing the opportunity to perform in the annual Underbelly Bazaar which is a show case of all the students and teachers. Rakella is grateful to have had the chance to train with many different teachers, in many different styles of Belly dance. Moving to Byron Bay in 2005, Rakella recently discovered an emerging style of belly dance, Tribal Fusion which is a modern/contemporary twist on traditional Belly Dance. Rakella is a big supporter of Aussie Hip Hop and has been involved with Maladjusted records since the first O.T.B.T. and will continue to support Maladjusted records and what they represent.
