Born in Sydney N.S.W. in January 1987,Rhyme-Form (born Ryan Fowler) was introduced to music at an early age. Some of his earliest memories are of his mother and father listening to artists that continue to inspire him to this day(including Big Daddy Kane, BDP, M.C Shan, Al Green, Diana Ross, Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye.)
From an early age, Form found music as a way to escape from a childhood surrounded by violence and drug dealing. Feeling hip-hop related more to his surroundings than jazz and blues, Form moved strongly towards it and could recite Snoop dogs "Gin and Juice" at the age of 8.
Having developed an ear for Hip-Hop Form struggled to express his love for the art. His parents then had a bitter break up and Form's mother Kim was blessed to recieve a public housing unit in the small coastal town of Byron Bay. On his first day there he met his mentor, collaborator and good friend B-Four. B-Four was at the time discovering rap and their friendship grew as they swapped tapes and fed on anyHip-Hop they could find. As a father figure to Form, B-Four helped Rhyme-Form grow musically and mentally as he showed him the ropes around their block.
In his Early teens Form started to rap more and more as a way to escape his problems. Although the Hip-Hop scene in there town was miniscule, what it lacked in size it made up for in depth. Over the years Rhyme-Form has worked and collabed with fellow Baytown Emcees B-Four, Talents, Contax and now established artists Styalz and Esscay.
Esscay further developed Rhyme-form as an artist through their friendship by inspiring him to lift his game and work ethic. Teaching him about rhyme-patterns and how to structure songs, Esscay remains one of Rhyme-form's biggest influences (Check out Esscay)
Having found his feet musically Rhyme-Form's main goal is to make non-gimmick quality music that will stand the test of time. Now aligned with Maladjusted Records and with a forth coming mix tape Rhyme-Form is looking to prove his worth in the scene. STAY UP!
